These are based on Tibetan prayer flags, which most misrepresent as prayers to "gods," when in actuality they represent prayers to the universe:

Blue is space

White is air

Red is fire

Green is water

Yellow is earth

Most people nowadays seem divided by the fact that this is all one big ecosystem. Everything works off the other, works with each other, and helps to make the system live. With the current focus on politics in the USA, the "reality tv" for the rest of the world, climate/environmental issues are pushed out of the limelight. I fear for the rest of the world 20, 10, even as little as 5 years down the line. Will I be able to tell my children what a coral reef was with just pictures? What was it like with bees, how tall were trees, and will someone please explain to me what these icebergs I keep hearing about are?? Or, were...

My name is Roy Cannon-Berg, and I believe climate change is real. *gasp*

I've never done any kind of activist art before; I don't really have the activist mindset because I like seeing things from as many perspectives as possible—positive and negative. It allows me to not be as judgmental and be a little less controlled by my emotions. In this era of uncertainty, I still want to remember what nature is; I hope that the generation after mine isn't too screwed from the problems we seriously need to fix now, you know, in order to live at least another 20 years or so—no biggie. Admittedly, I know that not everything will be fixed, I am human after all, and I'm not in the clear. I contribute in ways I don't always realize, but learning how to do this whole living thing a bit better, for everything, is at least a good first step.
